On the basis that programmes in boardrooms are usually complimentary with the prawn sandwiches, I was expecting the proceeds of the sales of the Yeading and Crawley Town matchday programmes on e-bay to hit record levels. £1 was a realistic target, after administrative expenses, of course, I felt.

I hear that you were interviewed by Radio 1 on Saturday evening. I will say no more about it, of course, but how was that for you? [in your shoes, I would have lied, by the way.]
