Sounds a cracking stadium PBT, I'm definetly going to try to get a ticket there this season though it will probably cost a fortune!

The seats I was given yesterday were the cheapest in the ground and normally cost £46 for a Category A game. The most expensive are £94.

That's outrageous - with the exception of Arsenal and Man U, I wouldn't go to the end of our street to watch the so called best soccer in the world. Some of the games on TV are absolutely dire - imagine having paid that sort of money to watch Msn City v Newcastle the other day, or Middlesborough v West Ham! Edgware are more fun to watch than they are!

As regular forum readers will know, I was very kindly offered complimentary tickets to the Emirates Stadium today. Whilst there, I made discrete enquiries relating to Rhodes' groundshare claims made numerous times on here. The general response was either "Kentish Who?" or "have they got a football team?". Don't sound too hopeful, does it.

I would be interested to know who Kentish Town have been in discussion with about this matter? I was told today that the only person who decides who plays on the pitch there is Arsene Wenger. Not the Chairman, not the Vice Chairman, not even the Groundsman. The ONLY person who decides what gets played on that pitch is Wenger - and I wouldn't imagine he's ever heard of Kentish Town!

Who are Kentish Town?

Wotcha Arky. Told you this was fun, didn't I. Have you seen the thread about the Kentish Town coach going to Charlton? There are some crackers in there! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

You'll find out when they're beating you in a couple of years on their way through to the Conference (Still without their own ground of course!)

Rhodes, if your much anticipated groundshare at Ashburton Grove was to fall through for some obscure reason, would you consider something equally daring? As an example, would you have the audacity to think about attempting to steal the Barnet Copthall Stadium from under the noses of Hendon? That being the same Hendon that you are so reliant on at the moment.

Potters Bar Town - I haven't got a clue what you are going on about, I am not fooling myself as getting a look in at Ashburton Grove next season is still a long shot despite me currently moving heaven and earth to do so but if it comes to nothing then so be it. You may even find us back at Parkfield next season although that will be very much a last chance saloon option, well apart from Haringey Borough that is, at least you didn't frogmarch eight and nine year old kids off the premises.

Rhodes..this is a serious question. Why realistically would KTFC even if they win promotion to the SSML Premier Division want to consider playing at Ashburton Grove?

It's a very nice ground, AWK. Good sight lines from any part of the ground. Comfortable seats and good leg room. I still think the Millennium Stadium just shades it, but not bad.

sorry mate,i don't know how anyone can compare the millenium to ashburton. The millenium looks dated compared to ashburton grove, the stadium itself is the most impressive stadium i have ever been to old or new,the millenium is the best stadium in wales, thats about as far as the plaudits go towards it!

Well that's told you Potters Bar Town. InformationZone - Thanks for your kind interest in Camden's Community Club, as I say I think you know what you are talking about and know of the painstaking work I carry out on a 24/7 basis for the cause. I feel that Arsenal would be interested in working hand in hand with us from a Community perspective and allow us to play at Ashburton Grove occasionally which would generate huge publicity for them in ticking all the right boxes, I have never said that we would expect to groundshare there for an entire season and would happily settle for Underhill for example when Ashburton Grove wasn't available.

my dads cousin is the main groundsman at arsenal, and although he now works at the london colney training ground(as wenger feels those pitches are more important),i will tell you now that wenger and arsenal do not want anyone other than arsenal and their opponents playing on ashburton. The only reason games like brazil v argentina went ahead was due to the sponsor(emirates) but with all due respect any game not involving arsenal or anything else to do with emirates will not go ahead, not even youth matches(apart from finals)

HTFCew - They are friends, why would you assume otherwise on the say so of InformationZone who has suddenly appeared on the scene and is somewhat of a man of mystery.

Why would we assume on your say so though...you've been proved a liar on this board before.
