well i definitely think ian w and the admin people should commend me in some way. promoting their forum in a positive way etc etc <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

when i first found this site i cant remember what i was doing but i read posts by a mysterious 'burnham1' and he was having all sorts of banter with romford and enfield town fans.

 

this inspired me to create 'burnhamnumber1' and join in the fun. no one spoke to me at first and ignored my early postings. i just loved the banter.

 

whenever i was at work i would have the forum up on screen or minimised so i was ready to pounce ha ha

 

i didnt have the internet at home at the time so had to make the most of it at work, shame <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

well it got serious that season as we were challenging enfield town for the title which they eventually won. however it was a great season and a great showdown game where there was plenty of banter.

 

then at burnham we thought, right weve got rid of the townies we'll do it this year <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> but heaven forbid those urchins joined us and romped the title and we missed out on top 3 also <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

however during that time the forum 'traffic' picked up. more and more people were hearing about the forum and logging in. the best banter was the pre season 2005 which has really yet to be matched. the banter has gone down hill in some ways because back then we really would rip into eachother and in some cases make enemies. this was not a good thing for players when they played eachother and that is why the postings are more humerous then severe banter.

 

so off went burnhamnumber1 and in came smallsy as i was already known to most. there was even a short stint as 'forumnumber1' just to relive the old memories of being a number 1 <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

 

i've had a forum ban, moving clubs and many other user names <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

 

i wouldnt say im even on here that much but others would tend to disagree. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/attentat.gif" alt="" />

 

ive met plenty of quality people since joining these forums and love day to day banter which always remains reasonably friendly.

 

im not gona bother mentioning others as id be here all day but love to you all <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />
