So the team performed & brought of a memorable victory with two cracking goals & a performance worthy of their talents.

A thread was made wishing them the best for Saturday & it seems our comments & best wishes may have been taken on board.

I think it would be nice also to now THANK them for giving us a treat yesterday as I feel they thoroughly deserve it,so I for one would like to thank them & look forward to next week where it is hoped the same applicaton,performance & result will be forthcoming. Sad to see some not being there to witness it but I more than hope they return next week.I am sure the effort & result will be similar next week & the more that encourage & turn up the better.

Not only was yesterday a game of good performance & result,it was also entertaining.Those that didnt go would be mad to miss the same again next week.

As some have said it IS time now for that consistency to hit in.A victory next week will put us right among those forerunners.We did real good yesterday but there is still improvement in this team & I reckon that that improvement can continue next week.I hope so & I think it will.We need it to!

From me to the squad...

A massive well done yesterday. Now keep it up!!!

Am fed up with getting stick at work with all those Ramsgate supporters there at the station(again though only 3 ha ha, but BIG mouths).My turn to gloat.Cant wait!

I can guarantee they wont say a thing but isnt that the way with that lot!

They only talk when they are winning! huh!!! Yes there could well be another day they get that chance to boast again but for this week-end its MY TURN!!!

For this opportunity I again "THANK THE SQUAD" & thank Carshalton too,for putting those fairweather/"win or we say nothing" fans aross the way, firmly in their place!

By crikey, I'm really rejoicing this week!!

Hope so! Dont think they need blocking as they wont be heard of again unless we lose again & they win(at the same time of course).Please god let that be never!

Have they noticed I wonder that the majority of us are only posting on our OWN forum about them & not rubbing their noses in it on THEIRS.I hope they take notice!!

Anyway back to the thread. Its thanks to the team that we can talk like this today eh! Now lets hope we arent dong too much talking eh? Dont want to "bok" anything for next week by getting too carried away with it all. Thinks its time now to get our feet back on the ground I reckon.Rejoicing nearly over & time to start concentrating on next weeks game.Lets hope the team will be doing the same. Still many obstacles to overcome, still much to do before we get anywhere near a promotion.

Well I'm certainly not guilty so you can rule me out.Too childish for me I'm pleased to say & I cant imagine others from over here being that silly either.If they have,then they should be ashamed of themselves.

You sure you got it right there Rob.Who do you know over Ramsgate who dosent like you apart from those I speak to in Ramsgate of course.Did you take the number or ring them back at all? If it was a bad line Rob how do you know it was from a gate fan & how do you know what was said.

As for your safety over here dont concern yourself with it.Margate are a civilised club.

I suggest you just ignore it.

Dosent sound too heavy anyway besides,& to be honest,maybe you had it coming to you after all your previous boasts though of course by phone isnt the way to do it.I'm afraid some are less grown up than others.You aint half as bad as that nutter you have over there by the name of Sanderson/McFerguson.Hasnt he gone quiet???

Ignore the phone call Rob.They know who they are & I'm sure they will be feeling a little small right now.As I say it didnt sound too bad from what you've said but still no excuses for mentioning it in a personal phone call.Lets hope they dont do so again You want to hear us brag about a result then come on here & the same applies to them too I hope.Say it on the Margate forum & address it to you on here.That would be more acceptable I think.

Now then, lets get back on track with this thread & get sone more "thank yous" in to the players.

I'm sorry Rob.I got the impression that it HAD upset you otherwise why mention it.My apologies for believing otherwise. See you you tonight no doubt.

No matter,you might get the opportunity to boast again after tonight & all your mates will come out of their hole then I expect,albeit it being a reserve match(no disrespect to the reserves)on paper.Will be interesting to see just how many first teamers are playing from each side tonight.
