chesham 1 windsor 3

pretty even at the start, they had their keeper sent off after about 20 mins for bringing down chennels when he was goin to score. porter scored the rebound after hitting his pen straight down the middle.

edgerly made it 2-0 after driving the ball through the keeper- league top score brennan i think. porter made it 3-0 before half time when he shot after the keeper had misdirected his goal kick and could not get back.

chesham played well in the second half and scored a screamer to pull one back but windsor stayed solid at the back. edgerly missed a good chance late on but wasted it otherwise it was one of those games where we didnt play overly well but took the 3 points anyway.

We wasn't as good as we could/should of been and picked up a few silly bookings and a large number of offsides but apart from that a good result. Not a vocal set of fans apart from their chav army!

good day out too...infact i would say it's first class... Ba da Ching

played well in the first half, passing the ball about well and i think they had still of had their keeper, benny porter wouldn't have got his second goal. second half took the foot off the gas being 3-0 up and that allowed them to get back into the game and they did with a well taken goal. Another win and another 3 points

Too many bookings for silly fouls, lack of disciplin, far to many offsides.thought they dominated second half, thought they had eleven players and Winsor ten. Didnt make them work hard enough with the man advantage, why keep trying long high ball to two of the smallest strikers who can outrun a greyhound if given the right service, bit a wins a win.See what Awindon cam offer.

Not much to comment on this one regarding the game other than Windsor were and will be in a different League to Chesham next season and the next time i see a side win a football match with the approach of kicking lumps out of opposition forwards all afternoon will be the first.

Have to comment on the Chesham fans though who were frankly p*ss poor. Whilst everyone wants to see their team win, to see the sight of half-a-dozen fourty year old, over-weight balding old gits complain about the stone-wall penalty and sending off was a very sad sight as was the 30 minutes of eyeballing from them that followed. (The mouth from that little group of chavs is not even worth comment). Try getting behind your team POSITIVELY home and away, win, lose or draw gents as you may find both you and the team would get more out of it.

One final mention has to go to the bunch of knobs that run public transport in and around London. What part of shutting both the train and the Tube line to the same area do you think is acceptable?

Knobs.

See you all for the Trophy game.

Not all our games are going to be pretty pretty with good wins. Some of them we will have to grind out against some of the teams at the top of the league. As long as we get the points against them thats all that matters. Simon seems to have most things sorted apart from the discipline. I am looking forward to Swindon. Another new ground and hopefully another win.

Thought Windsor played well in the 1st half but credit where credit is due Chesham played well in the second and were unlucky in the end to lose 3-1.

I agree on the comment about some of their fans, not sure what views some of them had of the penalty but it was the most stone wall penalty

you will ever see, Chennels was about to roll the ball into a empty net from 6 yards out.

It was good to see a decent sized crowd at a game for a change and its always a pleasure to dine from one of the finest burger vans in the league.

Also as somebody pointed out on the Chesham Forum, why was there no minutes silence? Hopefully it was just a oversight rather than somebody trying to be Politically correct!

Trains were a nightmare all day it got even worse when we got back to paddington to find that only 1 of the 4 lines was open because of engineering, as per usual the Heathrow express trains seemed to be unaffected as they continued to whizz past as we sat outside Southall station for 30 mins.

Chesham did pick up in the 2nd half but lets be honest, if Windsor had been 4 or 5 up at half-time nobody would have been surprised and at half-time the game was over. Chesham with nothing to lose rightly gave it a go and got at least the one goal their efforts deserved but they were never gonna get anything from the game. Windsor missed a shocking one-on-one having beaten the keeper once, trying to round him again and the ref missed a straight red late in the 2nd half.

All things up though a good job well done job done.

As for trains, i have the same sight in South London watching the Gatwick Express and fast trains to Brighton wizz past every 10 mins whilst the rest of the south london scum are forced to wait for the cattle trucks.

The moral of the story? Don't let them create privatised monopolies on the railways, but thats for one for a different message board.

As per the Chesham match report, another average Windsor team that was made to look good. So seven goals in two games in a bout a month concede against an average team, heaven help them if a good teams turns up. I have noticed this year that every time we win we are an average team, is this general sour grapes in this division. As we continually score more goals than most other teams at this, and the next level above us, surely someone will realise and admit we are a decent team sooner or later?!?!?!

As for the Trophy game well; they scored five in the FA Cup on Saturday, away from home. Lets not forget that Vauxhall Motors put out QPR before we whupped their buts at their place, so keeps the momentum going and we shall overcome!!!

Beat the Linnets and people will have to start paying attention and to be a bit scared of us, we can go on and win this league, and with our squad a good cup run will not hurt us.

So come on you Royalists, lets get some silverware in that trophy cabinet!!!!! (And The B&B Cup does count!!!)

This isn't the best windsor, team or anywhere near the most skillful, it's certainly the most entertaining for a long while and probably the most "together" since Byron had the boys sweating blood for each other.

As for the Trophy game Kings Lynn should respected but if you look closer you'll see they may be top but they've 21 points in an incredibly tight divsion. If they come to Stag Meadow thinking they'll role us over they'll be in for a very nasty surprise.

As i've said previously whoever puts us out of the Trophy will have to score plenty of goals to do so. Lets see how good their defence is under pressure and bring it on.

I agree with you that player for player we are not as strong as that team, but with the depth we have and the way we play as a team, for the team, most of us can see this is the best chance of winning the league we have had in a long time. I think your comment of us being nowhere near the most skillful is a little unkind, yes we had some very talented players at one time (Jesus, Chippy, Dyke, Shaggy) but other than that short period I don't think in the last ten years (or even longer) we have shown any real great talent. We have lost some very good players to injury already this season and we still look the most dangerous team in the league (Bashley may disagree but we shall see in the coming weeks) and this depth is what we have lacked in previous seasons when success has beckoned.

I do agree, however, that discipline is a big issue with certain players and we have been lucky in the last few matches not to lose players to red cards (Hampton was a big example with a Coyne stamp off the ball).

the players need a big game like Kings Lynn to get a guage of just how good they are show us what they are capable of.

UTR and bring on the SuperSubmarines!!!!!
