you were missing 2 up front and we were missing 6 regulars...we had on the day nobody in wide areas and upfront with gary paterson to cause problems to your defence.you're right,two saves from your keeper and one from ours.referee didn't make major mistakes but everything that was 50-50 went for only one side,the home one.the last thing is that i would like to have a bit of the £700 of your weekly budget to play with and not have to play 15 years old(although good ones)every week.that's all,the rest i'll agree with you chris.good luck tomorrow and saturday in the vase, after all i'm one of your supporters <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

must admit your boys worked hard i agree with you missing lots of players your side was hard to beat which is more than i can say for some of the hullbridge sides of past but most of our wage bill goes on those boys up front! We now have some of your problems many players out on suspensions and injuries now!

you are not one of them,aren't ya? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />strikers that score 20-25 goals at this level cost more, the same as a good keeper.you look at the top goalscorers,griffith,thomas,carr,vaughan and you look at the tables:brentwood and barking top.defensively you can always sort it out but goalscorers..you have to pay for them or find a little raw gem to work with.but then once he scores 10 goals in 10 games,he will have teams offering money and i cannot compete with that.same old story,that's why i like Coppell at reading <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

he didn't repeat last year and needed a bigger challenge..that's why he's gone to the millionarios of southend manor.2 goals in 10 games,statistics say.
