AWK - Yes thanks for that suggestion, I'll e-mail the Great Arthur Barker. I just thought I would go through official channels and alert Ruislip to the fact that I was planning to attend as that's how I like to operate, as a friend of the Club (Ruislip Manor) I would have thought that Lato would be straight on the phone to their Secretary, whoever that is now, to say that a guest is expected at the game tomorrow and to ensure a ticket is put to one side.

Talikng of emails, I recieved one yesterday from I presume the Kentish Town chairman Gregg regarding telescopic corner poles.

 

If he wants to put an advert in The 61FC programme then I can sort him out a good deal, I'm not going to move the team sheet though <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Nice one HTFCew, I do appreciate the work you do on that site and it is a credit to you how quickly it gets updated every week.

Thanks AWK. Horace and I share the workload, so it's not too bad.
Mitoo is actually very powerful, and could be used a lot more than we do. With a bit more work we could use it to register appearances and red/yellow cards which would then work out when players would be suspended. Also, officials can be added, but as we don't get notification of changes we don't do this. A few teams put their match reports on - a useful facility for clubs without a website.

Personally I think Mitoo is a good site even though it has had some critisism on here, the amount of information on there is excellent.

HTFCew - Yes Julian Bauer suggested that you continue to post them on my behalf as long as you don't mind, I didn't send last weeks report from the Brache Sparta game but am working on yesterday's 'as we speak', I'm trying to think of an alternative way of describing 'all Cockfosters Christmas's came at once' but may just settle for 'Christmas came early for Cockfosters'.

Last I heard from Julian, he wanted you to email him so he could give you a password and instructions on how to add reports.

Yes I think he gave up on that idea due to me being an IT dinosaur, the instructions were like the movie Apollo 13 where they were trying to fix the rocket from mission control in Houston and get it back to earth.
