who cares who posts on this site? Itnot important, everyone is allowed to have there say. At the end of the day the players have not been paid for a number of weeks and will not be happy, most players play for fun but they are still doing a job and should be paid for carrying out that job. I agree that they shouldn't rely on the money but if I was doing a job without being paid I would definately be annoyed wouldn't everyone. Think people need to remember that these players will not play well if they are not happy, so this is a big deal whether the club want it to be or not especially if we want to start winning a few games!

Agreed the players should be pissed off about not being palyed (but there are hints on this thread- be it by players or their friends) that they are losing because they are not being paid, ok so it would piss you off considerably but I honestly belive that none of out pplayers are so small minded as to 'throw games' or not give 100% cos of money.

Getting back to it, sadly I understand that if some players do not get what they are owed tonight I understand that about 5 or 6 could be leaving. Could have another patched up team Saturday. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

 

It really frustrates me that we find ourselves in this situation as you get clubs like (and I don't mean to be disrespectful here) like Heybridge, Leyton, Staines, Boreham Wood, East Thurrock (albeit a few seasons back) who with no real core fanbase ie fans that travel in numbers home and away, and turn up each week who have no financial troubles. I mean on Saturday when Heybridge scored you could hardly hear a pin drop!

I dont know if it is a coincidence or not but the players are alledged not to have been paid for the last 5-6 weeks and it was 6 weeks ago that Eddie Denton left!
