Election in St Mary's Langley

Dominic Ashford is standing in the st marys bye election next week, we have prepared a election leaflet to be posted through our Langley St Marys this coming week anyone who can help , please contact me on Saturday..so we can co ordinate some leaflet drops..

I had a conservative rep knock on my front door last night asking if I normally vote in the by elections. I said yes and it was for the person trying to help Slough Town football club. He promptly said " fine ", turned his back on me and buggerred off not even wanting to debate the issue. Can I take it that they have no policy on this matter.

I guess not ... Dexter Smith has been in with the independants all term and if the conservitives win the seat ! who do you think they will side with...

 

I cant understand Dexter Smith ..he was a former referee and loves the game , so why does he side with the muppets...its time to support the people who want to see slough back into the town where they belong...

You missed a trick there Growler. If you want to talk to a politician on your doorstep, then be an undecided. Undecideds are open to persuasion and are worth while for politicians to spend time on. Once talking, then raise the club as the most important issue, and ask them what their policy is.

To be honest Ted, I did not want to stand there with the door open letting all the heat out, talking to someone who does not give a toss about the club. It was just my way of sticking two fingers up without being rude.
