Wow, I hope our signings meet with your approval Jl.

 

To be honest, I think Bertie is a decent footballer; the difficulty I found was getting value for money.

 

But then again, we haven't got the resources of a big club like Braintree.

The value for money bit has generally been more of a problem it appears...and of course IW said that they HADNT signed him....

As to young Bert, I agree with TC. He's a good player and we have a wage structure. If the two fit then it's down to the manager. I just love the way the press state a fact that isn't, er ..., a fact.
