Lost 3-0 & missed a penalty when we were 1-0 down.

Despite that they played some really good football but couldn't finish against a team that was physically much stronger.

Don't know for sure if Jack is related to Jim but i don't think so.

good point happy. hughes is a quality player with great pace he just needs a few games to prove himself to jim and peter i just hope neil gets his chance before he gets p****d off and leaves the club and you can't say it dosent happen look at when deano left the club.

To be fair,he hasn't set the world alight yet,when brought on as sub.Although i love his skills and tricks when warming up.

 

I do agree that he should be playing regulary for the reserves in order to keep his fitness up. I would also start him on Tuesday in the middlesex cup game.

He hasn't come on as a sub for a while and when he has he seems to get the last 5-10 mins, which isn't enough to settle into the game. When he came on aginst Ruislip he looked good and he tore the Barnet defence apart in pre-season.

He had over 30 mins against Aveley nearly 20 minutes against Redbridge.

 

Admittedly not a lot of time to show his worth but as Enfield T says when he does come on he doesn't set the world alight. He did impress pre-season and against Ruislip. Now we are out of all the other cup comps the Middlex Senior takes on more importance and should not be treated as a reserve game.

I understand that fit first team squad members trained on Tuesday. Niall played the full ninety minutes last night and looked sharper as the game went on. I reckon he'll be back in first team contention soon.

Indeed it was, and if you get to read the match report you'll find out what happened when he came on.

 

No shortage of players, just a clash of competing priorities last night. If there had been one or two first team squad players involved last night, I think the result would have been very different.
