When was the last time we won 5 league games on the trott.

After the major cup disappointments of PB and Glos.,i want, demand and expect nothing less than 5 straight league wins during the rest of the month:

Hampton,Harrow,Bromley,Tonbridge and Staines.

15 points and nothing less.

Then we'll look at the next 5 games

Trotty obviously wasnt bovvered either Tone as he put out 9 reserves & youth. Its the least important of all the Cups i.m.o.I felt a lot worse, much worse when we lost out in the FA Cup.

Hampton & Richmond watch out! Big backlash on Saturday with a FULL first team.

It may only have been the KSC and equally, i am not bothered about our exit.

However, with just the one competition left, RT has put alot of pressure on himself to succeed now.

Progress in FAT and FAC would have been a welcome distraction, and progress and the associated financial rewards, to the later rounds would still have made it a decent season in my eyes even if we had not reached the play-offs.

With that option not there, the league expectations and pressure to succeed will now be massive.

The honeymoon period and love affair is now over.

Its now a pure results driven business, and we now have a right to expect RT to deliver i am afraid

He certainly has to give more attention to the league now MM. I am sure he'll motivate the players for the rest of the season & so should we! The cups are gone so lets forget the past, lets not go into the lost benefits etc as we are all well aware of them. Forget the Cup exits as theres nothing we can now do to rectify those results. Full concentration now on that league assault from now on starting with 3 points on Saturday. That IS a MUST to begin with!

Hello Robert. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for that. No one wants the KSC except for Ramsgate.Hopefully it will do them more harm than good by going for it.They STILL wont win it anyway i.m.o, though I hope they go as far as they can without actually doing so.

The reserves played extremely well. very impressed as the ball was on the ground most of the time. No team sheet really and NO tanoy so someone else can tell you the team but SCS played the whole game and extremely well too with 2 fantastic saves.

Abbot very disappointing i'm afraid but the number 9 very lively and number 4.

About 150 there probably 40 0r 50 gate fans.

Well played young lads a very enjoyable evening. Nice ground with a flat fast pitch. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Am sure there are some like yourself June that would have too.A bit of me would like to have seen us progress if I was truly honest but as I said in another post the FA CUP exit hit ME the hardest but I am not too upset at going out of this one.

Give me promotion anyday to the KSC & I am not just saying that because we lost as I said it before the game too.Trotty obviously sees it that way also.

It certainly hasnt been a good year for the cups thats for sure.

OK no cups but quite a few glasses (beer that is)

Despite the defeat fans in good spirits mainly insulting anything that was breathing.(be it linesman, ref, VCD team, Margate team, Margate supporters and as for the drumming Mark!!!!) Was the Hobbit reference out of order and WHAT did happen to Dave when he wandered off towards the end of the game to look for the coach.

P.S. Bugger Spurs won

No problem that we are out. Of course I'd rather win any game than lose but in my opinion with us going all out for promotion the KSC would have served purely as a chance for the fringe and reserve players. Now we are focused on the league and its the real business of getting points and wins in the bag. This is the exciting stuff starting again on Saturday. John Kirby, I dont understand why you are so anti-Trott, its beginning to grate that you take any opportunity to criticise the man when he's doing his best to get us promoted. I couldnt give a damn about the cups all the time we are in a promotion battle (which we ARE). Lets focus on whats really important (promotion). Agree with Cookie we all can work out the financial rewards of cup progress but to me this year was all about going all out to get back into Conference South. What I'm really saying is lets stop crying over spilt milk and lets push for three points on Saturday.

Were RT and MF there 'watching' the fringe players ?

Interesting/strong team.

Excepting SCS and Abbott, it looks like our 'strongest' reserve side-maybe with addition of Holden,Yiga and Sesay-but its actually quite a good looking team from what i can gleam about the reserves.

Might have to play the Ron Manager thing and start picking a reserve team to play Ramsgate reserves tuesday night.

Thats a reserve game that deserves a crowd of 150 plus
