John Terry.............. A RACIST?!

Recommended Posts

the all society is racist and you're not gonna change that.racist meant being afraid of someone different from you because of his religion, social class, colour skin, political belief and from a foreigner country.

it is unacceptable but if is true,it will be brushed under the carpet because terry is an england player and could cause a lot of embarrassement. myself,i called once one of my best mates, a black [****!!****] because i was angry with him and i don't class myself as a racist.there is resentment in society,in general, some people don't accept the fact that your next door neighbour could be black, indian, arab, chinese etc.it's a multiracial society these days, heritage of years of colonisation from the major european countries.france, italy, germany, spain they all have the same problem.we should take a leaf out of canada and see how 120 different races live together in that country.one of my older sister's daughter has married someone from trinidad & tobago and they have two daughters who my sister loves them to bits.one of my brother in law brothers didn't go to the wedding because he was black!my father didn't come to my wedding because my wife was protestant!people are just scared to accept someone that is different, that's all!football or sport can play a big part in fighting this.

i wonder if at anytime in those peoples lives, will they ever look back and say , damn i was stupid.

i can remember once playing and i heard 1 of my own defenders call there forward a black c***, i was shocked as i got on well with the player and wouldnt have thought this of him, but whenever i saw him again, that was the first thing that came to mind about him, maybe it was part of his deul with the player, but there was no need to go to that extreme, my beleif is, that is on par with spitting in an opponent face, absolutely disgusting, and i know how i would react, and really would not care about getting banned for life because of my actions.

i accept your excuse as to why you called him that and respect you for coming out on the forum and saying it, but you could have said something else, put yourself in his shoes, he has to put up with that all his life.

(its getting a bit deep on here init? we should really lighten the mood) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/orange.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/yay.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/yay.gif" alt="" />

Sorry to be padantic but thats incorrect. The ture meaning of racist is to feel that you are superior to someone else based on their race. It doesn't mean you are scared or afraid of them.

Secondly you are not racist because you make a racial comment. It can be said to hurt someone or in the case of football wind someone up to get them sent off.

Finally there are racist footballers simply based on probablity and based on probability some of them are in the premiership. Just because you have black players in the team doesn't mean you don't have racist players both black and white.

im not a racist but i can understand if jt did call him that ''not as a racist but to single him out'' just if some1 called me a ginger [****!!****] its to single me out rather than being hairest....and if some1 is fat you would single them out for this e.tc. e.t.c,

p.s if some1 abuses some1 and they take it to heart does that mean they cant accept themselves??

Boys........ why do we have these conversations. None of us were on the pitch on Sunday afternoon so how do we know?

It's a bit like the my mate's dad's cousin's window cleaner knows a bloke who knows a bloke that drinks with the programme seller at Chelsea, well he reckons that Ashley Cole is.............

great debate.

i think being a racist and trying to cause offence is different.

some black people take comments about their skin colour light heartedly and others real offence. same as some fat people take banter about their weight well and others do not.

some short people may not like banter about their height, whereas others just laugh at themselves.

smallsy that is a very good point. I'm short, fat and ugly, but i can take the banter as i am comfortable with myself and can laugh about it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

me and jerry always joke about our skin colour. he laughs at me for being white and vice versa. suppose it depends on the person.
