As stated in the message on the Harefield website the appeal was on behalf of football which Oik Gavin does not seem to care about. Edgware have screwed up football with their appeal, Edgware have screwed up the authority of the Referee because of their appeal and you must ask yourself about the mentality of those in Edgware since the other clubs, who are now coming out the woodwork, never dreamt of appealing until Edgware opened up the can of worms,. So you must ask yourself, especially all those unaffected out there, whose to blame for the mayhem in football - answer Edgware.

I wouldn't blame Edgware to be honest mate. At the end of the day someone will appeal, if it wasn't Edgware it would be someone else. The blame must go to the authorities that have made the decision to replay the game.

I find this news quite shocking.........the Harefield website has had an overhaul and is up to date (probably not to Rhodes standard though)!!!

I think the important, and relevant, part of this story is "However, the UniBond determined that the shoot-out was conducted in accordance with the referee's instructions and the appeal was thrown out."

 

I think the FA could, therefore, find against the SSML's original decision on this basis when Harefield's appeal is heard.
