We had someone from Spurs down at our place yesterday.

They very kindly donated some prizes for a raffle, (stadium tour, signed shirt and signed football).

Paula - Funny you should mention raffle prizes from Spurs, they donated a signed match ball and signed shirt to Haringey for fundraising purposes but 'Sugar' blatantly refused to collect them and as far as I know they're still sitting in Gary Broadhurst's office.

They do a lot for our club (had the friendly in the summer), have been given tickets to raffle for their games (don't know who would want them lol) but yesterday well that was something else!!

A few of their youngsters came down and.........

saf, u have played for us this year and have seen Kentish town in action, how do u think they would get on against us, honestly??

Just so we can get an idea of the difference in quality between the 2 leagues?

this is me being totally honoust-i dont think there is much differance in 1st or thje prem-i think once you get into wingate and finchley league(played for them aswell-bit of a slag aint i) that were it ateps up and coaching becomes a bit more vital-also witht the likes of hornchurch and canvey etc .......

i think the top 6 sides in the prem are at a different level then the rest, but then below that, the top 5 sides in the 1st division are equal to them and would do well in the prem.

London Colney

Broxbourne

Harefield

 

Brimsdown, Kentish, Stony Stratford, Hoddesdon would all do very well and are at the same level as the rest of the prem division!!

I'll second that, Cockfosters were in our faces throughout though and treated the game like a cup final, their goalkeeper is a class act and made a save of Gordon Banks proportions from Thomas Looney.
