How come there was no prediction league for tonight's three Premier Division games, I bet nobody would have predicted the Haringey v Royston Town score, and before Potters Bar Town asks when he gets back from Ware that's not a dig.

nobody would have expected the haringay score, except people in and around the ground, a result like this was long in coming, As haringay finally found their shooting boots.

Credit to Royston they did play some neat stuff, but with 1 up front with a strenghtened Haringay back line it was always going to be difficult.

3praise - I'm afraid you have been sucked in but your support for Haringey is admirable, as you say the result tonight shows what is possible. Surely you would like to see them in the Ryman Premier League or Conference South at the very least with Coles Park being properly secured and turned into a state of the art stadium following large investment and sponsorship, that is not the impossibility it sounds and can happen almost overnight if allowed to.

Great result for Haringey..well done to all at Coles Park. Based on the games Manor have played against the two sides this season I would have predicted a Haringey win but perhaps not by such a great margin.

Manor's game at Hillingdon was halted for 15 minutes as the fog thickened but eventually it receeded and a good game ensued. To be honest we had the chances to win but didn't take them. Borough scored midway thru the second half following from what manager Shayne Chadler suggested afterwards was an error by Tommy Lambourne. However the major talking point of the game was an astonishing miss by Uduma Kalu. No doubt everyone who posts on this site has seen some bad misses over the years but this was incredible. Kalu was little more than one inch from the goal line, unmarked and the ball came to him standing in the middle of the goal. All he had to do was literally let it hit him and it would go in but somehow he managed in trying to fancily flick it into the net to squirt it sideways against the post and out. It was unbelievable and with it went our hopes of causing an upset.

Thanx Lato, there is alot of effort at haringay at the moment to get results and not repeat the bottom 2 scrap Boro was in last year! a few more results like that and it may become achievable

Having spoken to Tommy Lambourne about his performances he has been very dissapointed with himself to say the least. I am sure you will see the best of him soon enough!

As for Kalu.....If he wasnt a starting regular at Haringay i wasnt sure where else in the league he could get a place!!

3praise, football doesn't work as simple as that. Many players have been rejected or released by clubs at all levels, only to go on and achieve bigger and better things!

Uduma is not the best striker in the Spartan League, nor is he the worst. He is young, athletic, enthusiastic and talented. he will get better with good coaching, and a good manager could get a lot out of him. I hope things work out for him, he deserves a chance, and I have no doubt he is good enough to play Spartan League Football, no doubt at all!

Why am I not surprised by this, the Great Arthur Barker can't have played a part in the proceedings as otherwise he would have been in for some stick too.

Does Tommy agree with you on this by the way as you spoke to him so recently?

Rhodes thats not stick, it was fact. If Kalu had scored a wonder goal I'd be the first to post it on here. I'm not blaming him for the defeat but if you ask him I'm sure he'd agree it was a poor miss. No Barker didn't feature at all.

Rak,

Cahill played and looks a good player. He's done well since he came to the Manor.

you seemed to have vastly Mis-quoted me.......I have spoken to Tommy about his own personal Performances and was merely making an observation that Although Kalu is a very gifted player, having not cemented a guarenteed starting place at boro (like Laambourne) i wasnt sure if he would Start anywhere else in the league!
