As Cookie doesnt want to do this as his previous post said, I will try & fill his footsteps. Even though it is only a KSC game, want to wish all the lads who play, whether it be first team squad or reserves, all the best for game at VCD. Play to the best of your abilities and lets get an unbeaten run going for as long as we can.

Well done for following in Cookie's footsteps Taffy. Good luck to all the lads tomorrow night. I hope those who get their chance who don't normally in the first team can play to their best and show what they are about. It would be good to win the game and keep going in this cup and maybe a similar team to that tomorrow night would get a chance in later rounds should we progress.

Thanks Taffy.Maybe you will better that unbeaten run (7 to beat). Great to see this kept going. Well done! Incidentally I wasnt against it continuing but just thought it would be good starting the same with another thread title as the previous thread & its unbeaten run & had come to an end. Glad someone else has started one up. Again well done.Cant wait for part 8 or better.

Good luck to the team, whoever takes part & hopefully we can get off to a flying start again on Wednesday(though to be honest I'm not too bothered how it goes really though obviously a win would be nice)followed by & more importantly an enormous victory on Saturday.Every league game will be a big game from now on & we need the players to focus & be more aggressive & direct.

Sounds like our youngsters put up a good performance against a strong Kent league side (remember they are the equivalent of 2 leagues above our reserves). Disappointing to hear Abbott was again under par though. As MM and SSS have said Hampton and Harrow are must wins particularly as we then have to visit Bromley and Tonbridge where we will do well to get a result. On the plus side no distractions from the ultimate aim of promotion (via the play offs) and hopefully a fully fit squad going in to Saturday.

For me now, every game is a must win.

 

We now need to see the class and ability of this side fulfilled week in and week out.

 

Nothing less than 5 league wins on the trott,,undefeated until January, and no more than 2 defeats between now and season end.

 

The players are good enough-lets just do it

Agreed Michael,in part. We certainly have no reason, no excuse NOT to go out there now & perform to the standards these players are really capable of.Maybe we wont get the 5 wins you mention but 3 wins & 2 draws would be acceptable to me out of those 5 fixtures.We need to take the game to our opponents & not sit back & allow them to dictate to us.

Saturday though is definately a MUST WIN game thats for sure.

 

Going back to the thread title.
