...who has the best and worse playing surface in the ESL this year?

From a fans' point of view Concord's has never looked better, but Basildon's is only fit for a cockroaches' moto-cross rally..

Lush Green is still okay but not as good as when the old boy was the groundsman and Tilbury/Eton Manor looked fine as well....

i have seen a massive improvement on a lot of esl pitches this year.southend manor(thanks to freddy smith former gwr chairman),stansted,hullbridge,bowers(shame about the drainage)concord(a bit),romford.clapton has been the worst i have seen so far but we haven't been at sawbo,beaumont,barking,brentwood.definitely a massive improvement...shame there are teams that still make you have a stiff neck after 90th minutes.

Talking of stiff necks, try playing Averly, my god the ball don't touch the pitch.
