Thanks Radder, but too late. I had already left at 1.50, since I have a long way to travel. It would have been nice if the answer-phone (which I am led to believe was set on Fri. evening) had indicated that one should ring in on Sat morning to check if the match was on (instead of saying it was definitely ON, with NO pitch inspection planned).

As someone who arrived with me at The Park on Sat said "this club couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery", I am inclined to agree!
