yes well done indeed on a cold and foggy night in redbridge...great result in what was always going to be a tough draw away from home on a monday night and well done to the fans the staff and colin and his team for hanging tough after saturday and getting an excellent result...

 

the old claret and black cup final kit worked its magic once again,....

Hmmmm, a tough one. Well AFC Hornchurch have had one if I remember correctly? Against Brentwood at home last year in one cup or another. We just could not score so it went to extra time and we scored 2 in the first 5 minutes of it. Steve King got one... England played that day... I think it was 0-0 in full time though??

If not, Harlow in the Bryco Cup. The infamous coldest Tuesday night in the history of Tuesday nights in which we lost on penalties. I believe that was 0-0.

Both however could be wrong as I only have vague memories of these games. As far as league games go...feck knows <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

i still have no feeling in my toes. that was a cold game to go to without a coat imo.

 

fair play to barkingside, they had 11 players and no substitutes on the bench and didn't give up. pretty much the same squad that we got on sooo well with on and off the pitch last season... no change there! good bit of banter with the mulletted one legged keeper with a girls name.

 

jesus unlucky to hit the inside of the post, amos settling in well, but i thought was trying a little too hard to win the game single handedly. ainsley is shaping up to be a quality player.

 

bring on redbridge away in the next round...

It was a Thursday night. Don't ask me why, I just know!!! That was a few seasons back so must have been one since then.

We had no subs on the bench as they were either stuck in traffic (M25 carpark), injured or suspended. We had plenty of the ball as well thanks. Game that was battled by both sides.

Oh and by the way there was not over 100 fans there eiter, wasn't even 100 <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I've also been reminded about Wivenhow in 2002 and Canvey in 2003. How could I forget those <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Nonetheless, what was the last away 0-0 draw??
