I noticed the thread below about our new ground so thought I would sign up on here and keep the information flowing.My name is Danny and I have been a 'wader' for 9 years now. We were actually thinking of starting our own forum but this one is excellent and hopefully more of our fans will use it now.Cheers.

What the latest on your new ground?

Thank you, we have an eleven acre site right next door to the A1 and we are building a new 500 seat ground with new bar and banqueting facilities.We are hoping to get new fans and much needed bar and restaurant income from the new private housing which is rapidly being built the other side of the A1.The pitch is already laid and bulding works shall start around Xmas time with an August 14 finish date needed. On another part of the ground/site we are hoping to do a deal with one of the big leisure companies for an esporta or next generation type development/gym complex.Exciting times for us, we are only a small club and our people have worked really hard for years to get this sorted out.

Thank you Paula, I am sure it will work okay, our long standing and hard working Chairman is a hard nosed Accountant/Businessman type and we have the money already to complete the ground. We pay very little in wages/expenses and will be happy at level 5 or perchance (we hope) 4.If we can get a deal for the development of the rest of the site which we own and have planning for then it will set us up for a good few years.Cheers.

Yes a belated hi Danny boy and for calling the Forum excellent, some people might not agree with you though. Have you passed on the information to my new 'friend' Uncle Urchin who I think originally asked for it.
