I still have faith in the other team you mention, after all their recent poor run of results have been against two recent Champions League winners, a Champions league finalist and Premiership champion for last two years. I am beginning to lose faith as 'our' poor results have included 'must wins' where we have achieved two draws and a defeat against teams at the same end of the table as 'us'. If 'we' can't beat them, I can't see where the points to keep 'us' up will come from. So hard to see how it could be worse.

Hi Mws.

It could be a bl00dy sight worse. We could be looking for a new manager - and no-one wants to be reminded of the last time that happened.

Keep the faith Mws.

[is my season ticket for the east Stand at the Majedski valid for games with the funny shaped ball what Reading play with?]

Help old ladies across the road, Mws. Sprinkle holy water on your season ticket. Recite "Every day, in every way, it gets much better as I say...." [repeat to fade.]

Look out for the unexpected signs. Remember the white chocolate mouse in Nick Hornby's book.

Only 300 run off, eh, Webbo? "whoeveritis's Premiership Newcomers, Morcambe", eh?

It's a good job that I'm not one of those people who enjoy the misfortunes of others, mate. Because if I did, this one would be a real hoot.

On a serious note, I would be tempted to just stick the things up, Webbo. There are plenty of people around who refer to The Mighty Saints as "St Albans". And some of those are close to home.

Aaahhh, Little Miss Urchin, old girl.

You will be aware that, in common usage, the word "what" is an interrogative pronoun, the neuter of "who", and is often used elliptically as in "What did you say?".

However, I'm somewhat surprised that you appear to be unaware that the word may also be entirely properly used as an interrogative adjective, and, in particular, as a relative pronoun meaning "that which", as in this case.

I'm pleased to be of assistance to you, and I thank you for your interest.

How's the marmalade?
