Side were forced to using just eleven players last night due to a list of injurys from saturdays match. Hornchurch turned up with a very near full strength side as this is the only cup they are left in this season and their main chance of any silverware. Barkingside started bright and looked like the only team that might try and play a bit of football, its easy to understand how some of the urchin fans have voiced concern over the difference in their style of football from last year. The match was well contested with the away team only really showing an threat from set plays or long balls. Side had three clear cut chances on the night but were unable to make them count aswell as many half chances all created by good passing football which you could have compared to the urchins of last year. Nice to see some old faces again just off to rub some deep heat into my neck to try and ease the stiffness created by looking up into the sky all night.

it might also help to ease the stiffness when you are looking up at the judge and trying to defend your player at the crown court who threatened to kill a linesman on saturday thereby causing the abandonment of the league match against eton manor....... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

barkingside in controversy,i thought they were well behaved last night,i wonder why,must have something to do with their lack of players.Did hear a whisper that they weren't actually stuck in traffic as reported but had so many out suspended that they could just about get 11 out!!!

I have seen it many times and I still can't see anything that Pardew has done. All he did was celebrate the goal, and if that was over the top then what about the one in a later round of the FA Cup last year, and either Middlesbrough or Man City I think, but I didn't see McLaren or Pearce go ape about it.

imo his celebrating of the goal was fine,but from the pictures i have seen he clearly goes towards wenger to wind him up,because you don't see wenger for a couple of seconds after that you don't know wether wenger said something or not,no doubt he had the hump but pardew has been known to do it before,especially at reading when he got into trouble with paul hart at forest after a last minute goal.I think he just wants to be one of the fans.as i have said before i have no problem with managers jumping around cuddling each other etc etc but i do honestly think(from the angles i have seen on tele) that pardew was on a wind up
