Batchy has mentioned that he is looking to strengthen the squad in the near future.

 

With Dobbo putting in a couple of good performances at the back what positions do you feel are critical for JB to strengthen?

 

Do you leave Dobbo at the back and possibly strengthen or make more competitive places in midfield? or do you still look at strengthening the defence and moving Dobbo back into a midfield position? There's always the possibility of a new forward as well......

 

Decisions, decisions - who'd be a manager. Any thoughts on how to strengthen the squad?

Hasn`t Dobbo got a suspension coming up? We do look stronger when he plays at the back but im not sure if he should play there long term.

 

Any new players we go for need to be a step above what we have now, there`s no point getting someone who`s only slightly better than what we`ve got.

I'm waiting until everyone is 100% fit and I've seen Saturday's game before commenting. For now I would've said a priority is an attacking midfielder/goal poacher who can make something from nothing and score goals too.

 

However, we've seen nothing of Danny Curran yet, he could be the answer and it reads like our most experienced heads are playing in defence now - Crow at Right-Back, Kreyling and Dobbo in the centre and Bourne on the left.

 

Dobbo played centre half for most of the pre-season before he originally joined us, for now I'd keep him there until we start conceding again and it becomes his fault. That leaves our Midfield rather lightweight though, so another 'Stimmo' type player would be a good aquisition, especially if he can setup our strikers for numerous chances.

I know this has been ,emtioned somewhere previously - but when is Danny Curran expected to be fit for selection again?

I heard he`s out until the new year and seeing he hasn`t kicked a ball this season it will probably take him a while to get up to speed.

A new striker and a centre back are definites. Could also do with a holding midfield player if Dobbo stays in defence.
