Predicition for Sunday

I wont have as good a day as last Sunday.

 

Sunday morning I was offered a FREE ticket to see The Who at the electric proms, then the Ladies team beat Reading in the F A Cup and then while queing to get into the roundhouse to see The Who, I was approached to take part in a market survey about the performance and received £35 for it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I was quite shocked when I went into the roundhouse about 3/4 years back it was done up very nicely with Tiered seating all around the Interior , It looked very smart . I recall when I was young my Aunt used to take me along there to see the trains and we often passed the roundhouse ,It was a warehouse then and originally started out as a workshop to repair steam trains, but it became disused and fell into decline with Druggies ,Dossers ,Vandals pimps,etc doing their best to destroy it . I believe Mary Wilson started up a fund to save it ,and Raves & other musical events moved in and transformed it . I have only seen local bands play there but at least this old landmark that was built in the 1800s has made an astonishing comeback ,Pleased you enjoyed it there Brunob . Good in the 70's but Daltrey is just an "embarrasing uncle" once on stage these days.
