That John Holmes seems a decent sort though. Talks a lot of sense. You could do with a few more like him.

Yes Rik, we have a few so far up thier own back sides they cannot lighten up. I put the worms on the hook and never got a bite (reply)....I'm disappointed. Try to have some fun and you get a pratt like that.......oh well!

Alas TTC he is playing so well, we will be lucky to keep him. He is only 19 and destined for leagues above us. I don'y buy into this 'he'll make £k's for us'. I'd rather have the player at our club, then I would wouldn't I? Nice kid with lots of speed and ball control....and can strike a ball cleanly.

hmmm, I hope he does it, but it will take more than a good half season before he moves up, so I reckon he will be with you for a while yet.

 

 

I see you are entertaining my friends from Borehamwood this weekend, it will be a toughie, they have a decent side that works hard for each other.

It will be nice if it is but Folkestone are a very capable side; not to be underestimated.

They have recently held Welling to a draw at home in the Cup & beat Staines away in the Trophy.

They are better than their League form suggests and need to be taken seriously, which I'm sure we shall.

As I have said before, some family in Folkstone (teachers) and they go to some games and are not so impressed this season.
