Lato - you're not going to believe this but guess who just rang me, that's right the man himself. Rhodes is April 28th the last Saturday of the season? It wont be a Saturday, it will be midweek, unless both us and them have a free Saturday. I agree it will need a top ref, prob step 1 or 2, if possible.

True, I was thinking of the fact that a spare Saturday would be needed. As you say the fixtures are not done yet, so there is a good chance it can be on a Saturday.

Gavin - Yes it is which was my point about Phil Rolt leaving it till then to allow the dust to settle, I think you will find that is exactly when the game will take place but no doubt someone will contradict me on that, no names mentioned. The league will probably also be wrapped up by then by either you or Hertford Town so the game will not attract so much attention, I can't see Harefield going the distance however it could be interesting if you need to beat them to win the league on the final day as they won't roll over I'm sure.

Because no one believes they will last the course. They have done excellent so far, but if they are still top come the last game of the season I think we will all be shocked

I think Leverstock have a good chance of staying up there...they have two good goalscorers in Armstrong and Arthur, some experienced players and a decent squad. I'm not sure they can win it though.

Apologies for my absence recently! However, I'm back - and pleased to reveal that I did actually spend some time looking at match reports and old photos at Haringey on a couple of occasions, and did praise Rhodes for his devotion and hard work for the cause.

 

I would also like to confirm that we were not, have not, and are not sleeping together!
