For once Rhodes I agree with you but not for the reason you suggest, more for the fact he could then manufacture a potential championship decider.
Lato - you're not going to believe this but guess who just rang me, that's right the man himself. He wanted to inform me of a change of fixture, hot off the press, whereby we now go to Arlesey Athletic on 18 November and not Buckingham Athletic, having just beaten Arlesey 6-1 they must be shaking in their size nines although they were the best side we've faced by far all season.

SKY want to come and film the match when we play Harefield at the WLG, they want to do an article on the whole subject. Many papers have also been in touch, seems like we are going to have lots of media attention, which can only be good, no matter what you think of the reason behind it.

Good for you but not good for the game.

Why won't it be a Saturday? Fixtures haven't been done yet, so Phil Rolt can make it any day he wants!

Rhodes is April 28th the last Saturday of the season? It wont be a Saturday, it will be midweek, unless both us and them have a free Saturday. I agree it will need a top ref, prob step 1 or 2, if possible.
Gavin - Yes it is which was my point about Phil Rolt leaving it till then to allow the dust to settle, I think you will find that is exactly when the game will take place but no doubt someone will contradict me on that, no names mentioned. The league will probably also be wrapped up by then by either you or Hertford Town so the game will not attract so much attention, I can't see Harefield going the distance however it could be interesting if you need to beat them to win the league on the final day as they won't roll over I'm sure.

I think Leverstock have a good chance of staying up there...they have two good goalscorers in Armstrong and Arthur, some experienced players and a decent squad. I'm not sure they can win it though.

Hi there

Apologies for my absence recently! However, I'm back - and pleased to reveal that I did actually spend some time looking at match reports and old photos at Haringey on a couple of occasions, and did praise Rhodes for his devotion and hard work for the cause.

I would also like to confirm that we were not, have not, and are not sleeping together!
