Thats how we felt as well Marcus until Saturday, dont think Aidan and I would be stupid enough to pay £16 just to see Windsor loose.

 

Anyway to a football match that really mattered, hope you enjoyed Sunday, make the most of it my Kerry (another yid) said it was the best day of her life so enjoy hopefully you wont beat us again for another 16years !!!!!

In fairness I think those of us who went on Saturday enjoyed the game which was a good cup tie and especially for us as in a way it didnt matter who won.I have to say that I personally made my peace with Dev after some recent history and had a long chat with him where he was full of praise for Hodgey and Chops and also spoke about his deliberate choice to let Matty Seedel play for Windsor when he could have said no. He also was very sympathetic to our current financial/ground situation and was very complimentary about the devotion of the STFC fans throughout the troubles (of which he seemed to know a lot !).

 

So at least for now I have changed my mind about him !

Thing is with us is that i'm sure the likes of Devosnhire and players as well would love to come to a club like Slough, but with the 'history' of the club over the past few seasons and the current situation they won't even consider it.
