woody ..you were a part of the band of 10 behind the goal on saturday - complaining about Slough playing at Stag Meadow and Slough this and slough that ..yet you posted a message about slough being in trouble ! yet you apparantly don't want our money either or our supporters turning up on saturday to support you ! we put 40 -60 extra supporters through your turnstyles on saturday ..if you did not want us there please donate the money back to us...because we do...

 

ungrateful or what ! (this applies to the 10 or so shouting and swearing from behind the goal)

 

We feel honoured they thought of us so much !!!

 

But we were glad you won and you deserved too...sad you seam to think you can kick a team when its down , especially a non league side...

Not at all. Can't use you coming down and supporting us off your own back as a 'verbal weapon' against as and expect not to get a reply! We don't have a problem with slough just a small number of their fans! Let's remember one of you made the hardly any fans jibe before any of us replyed with at least we've got a ground!

get real woody ! you know what started that ! it was because you had an opportunity to do so..with your (so called friends around you ! ) and knowing so many slough fans were in the ground...no one had a go at the windsor fans from slough until you became un grateful and abusive..

I have to say after the way some of them carried on Roger I'm sorry Aidan and I went as well. I am not saying it was all of them but for the first 10 minutes they forgot there was a game on and were too busy singing anti Slough songs, quite sad really, still we should take it as a compliment because I certainly dont think about them unless we are playing them. By the way Woody most of the Slough fans were clapping when Windosr scored the first goal, not sure about the second as I think that was blatantly off side and caused a bit of a talking point especially when Lovett threw a hissy fist at the lines man. I must thank Windsor for that as it was lovely to see him having a blue fit, such a nice guy (NOT).

 

Sorry your winning doesnt upset us as much as you would like it to, Good luck in the next round.

I actually thought Saturday was quite a sad day for both Slough and Windsor. It was a sad day for Slough because we had no game as we were so piss poor in the first qualifying round that we had already gone out of the Trophy. It was a sad day for Windsor because the attendance was piss poor and supplemented by at least 40 Slough regulars. For a team that is doing well in the league, scoring plenty of goals and had a relatively attractive tie against higher level local opposition with a big name where was all the support? It just goes to show that it will take a hell of a lot to get people to pay to go through the turnstiles to watch Windsor.

Martin the people of windsor as a whole are just not very interested in football let alone non-league! Shame but we enjoy what little success we have and win or lose it's always a good laugh. Shame Slough fans had to 'wind up' windsor fans and then not like it when we get wound up! Last i will say on the matter although no doubt some will still go on about it as it's better than speaking about wallo leaving and finacial troubles.... ;~)

Chris, Woody has only just turned 16 so is still learning about the world and he and his "friends" may end up regreting their actions when they need a favour in the future.

 

Just think how many times you have helped Windsor whilst he was sobering up from a half a pint of shandy and drying the pi$$ out of his eyes.

 

The little half pint is a fair weather fan of Windsor as he missed quiet a number of games when Windsor was not doing well last season - but now they have had a couple of wins he is claiming to be Windsors number one fan.

 

Slough might not be doing so well at the moment and not have a home, but they have a larger and stronger fan base than windsor and are still a level above!

I'm not here to have a dig, but we always sing anti slough songs, because your our local rivals and thats what its all about.

 

Woody isn't a fair weather fan and i'll think you'll fins its 'quite' not 'quiet'.

 

A level above, not much longer and our 10/15 fans behind the goal probably make more noise than the 300/400 supporters you get.

Nowt wrong with what you were singing in the second half which was the only time I could hear you. First half I stood on the half way line and had no idea what happened.

 

I've never considered Windsor rivals as when I was growing up supporting Slough we never played and you were barely a speck on the horizon.

 

The only reason I'm anti-Windsor these days is the attitude of some people that we should be grateful for you letting as pay to play at your ground. If you want to let us groundshare for fee I'll show some gratitude.

 

If anything I think Slough fans were more minded to be anti-Hampton given our long running feud with Dev and some controversy regarding Hodgey and Choppers' departure.

Personally never had a problem with the 'real' windsor fans, obviously the Chavs a few season back who came to wind us up because we had only beaten the 4-1 etc, but persoanlly would like to see Windsor do well.

 

All my hatred is aimed at Staines and Hampton.

 

And wycombe of course.
