Back from Tesco's now. Also went to garage for petrol - had to make a 3 mile longer trip because my local petrol station is closed for the forseeable future. Was a little later back than predicted becuse I met two friends, seperately, and spent some unplanned time talking to them. Sorry.

Why should you be surprised by my enjoying the cinema. I happen to like a lot of European arthouse stuff though I don't profess to be an expert. French suspense drama Hidden is probably the best film I've seen this year although yesterdays offering the Italian gangster move Romanzo Criminale comes a close second.

Lato - I went to a Wetherspoons with a Polish friend recently who suggested I tried a bottle of each. Zywiec was the most suited to my palate, I felt. 6.6%, I believe, but tasted very smooth.

Wetherspoons don't serve Lech which is my personal favourite Polish beer but to be honest any of them are good.
