Excuse me? My first comment on this thread came at 6:38pm this evening, a long time after you had dug yourself into a deep, deep hole.

And as for stirring things, isn't that what you are trying to do with regards to the possible Herts Senior Cup match at Hertford? You'll find with me that you get back what you give - with knobs on!

Well the supposed misunderstanding between Paula and me doesn't really involve you that's all I was trying to get at and if Horace wants an apology too he can have one, he also seems to be like a cat on a hot tin roof at the moment. As for the Herts Senior Cup match you do seem a little touchy about it but lets wait and see what the outcome of the Berko v Hertford game is first, if Berko win then you're in the clear anyway.

Sorry i'm a bit late on here everybody (just in case anyone was wondering where I was).

Had my dinner, washed up, took muttley out, done some ironing, had a bath (now have my new fluffy pink dressing gown on) and rang my mum.

She wouldn't get off the phone - I told her I had an important schedule to keep but she just kept on chatting <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Think he's only interested in mine and was it PBT (he keeps track on the time they come home from work and the Crunchy nut Cornflakes bit).

Actually Paula I think I have the dubious honour of being the Crunchy nut cornflakes guy.

 

I'm sure Rhodes will be interested to know that I got up, had a shower, had some breakfast then watched the Championship this morning. Then I went upto the Curzon Cinema in London and saw Romanzo Criminale - absolutely cracking film. now at home and just watched Planet Earth - wonderful

It's Lato not PBT, although Rhodes probably has a Don Revie style dossier on him too.

You really are being an idiot, Rhodes.

Firstly, if you don't want others to get involved in your misunderstandings with people, use the PM service and don't post things in the public areas.

Secondly, you continue to make stupid comments about Horace. Someone who, I believe, you think you may have seen from a distance at a pre-season friendly but have otherwise never met or spoken to. Not quite sure how that qualifies you to make the statements you have made about him in this thread.

Thirdly, when have I ever been "touchy" about the Herts Senior Cup tie? I said at the outset, and reminded you the other day, that I would prefer Hertford to get through due to the fraught nature of our last match at Berkhamsted. Hertford is also much easier for me to get to midweek. Ultimately, of course, I'm not that bothered which team goes through and we'll take whichever tie we get. You seem to have been saying an awful lot about the supposed reception I may get at Hertford. What was that about "doesn't really involve you"?

Oh, and before you say it, this is not a rant. It is a reasoned and considered response pointing out your idiocricy.

Folks - I can sense a bit of sarcasm with some of the recent posts on this thread but I can assure everyone of my best intentions at all times, I like to think we are all friends and have nothing to hide from each other, that's all I was trying to get at. Therefore Lato's earlier post about going to the cinema was most refreshing as I saw a whole new side to him other than purely the Ruislip Manor fan who likes a drink, I wouldn't have otherwise known or imagined that he was a cinema goer in his spare time. As for Potters Bar Town I think he should lighten up a bit on here otherwise people will start believing my description of a man who never smiles and who seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Paula - for the "ForumPals Private but Reportable Activities Because we Post on This Forum" spreadsheet - I'm off to Tesco's now to do my weekly shopping, overdue from last Thurs, because I've been busy "not getting out". Should be back by 11am latest. When i've unpacked the shopping, I'll be taking the first lot of kit out of the washing machine, putting it out to dry and putting the second lot in. It's the reserve change kit (white) they won away at Stony Stratford Reserves incidentally, - HTFCew is washing the first team kit becuase she doesn't get out much either!
