Good job he's not our chairman...

Just an annual think Kev, happened last year. They'll have a meeting Woodward will stand up and say "if you don't back me then I'm walking out etc etc". I'd love one of the arse lickers to say close the door on your way out.

Expect similar things to happen to Weymouth in about a year.

They say money doesn't buy happiness but if the two owners of these clubs leave and the two clubs return to whatever hole they crawled out then it will certainly put a smile on my face.

H......a word of advice........if you have had a tax rebate of £2k, then I wouldn't advertise it :-

a) because you will now need to get a VERY big round of drinks in !

B) because they ( IR ) might realise they have made a mistake, and "claw" it back !

c) is Sir David still employed by HR R & C ? If so, surely we can put this money to a better use ? i.e. re draw the cheque & make it payable to GNFC !!

But, it's nice to get back some money from the State !! so.. enjoy !

Cheers,

Poor chav gets rich, buys club, becomes lord of the manor, things don't go his way, throws toys out of pram, fires manger four months after HE selected him, puts himself in charge and then selects his son to play for the team, fans give him a hard time, he isn't happy.

I'd give it a week give or take.

I understand the fans point of view.

Two grand? Oxford game, you can buy everyone a round at half time!

Please keep up H I left that lot in 1978, when they were still the plain old Inland Revenue.

Nowdays I spend my time keeping money out of their hot sweaty little palms.

Actually I hope it does work out in the end, I don't like what the chairman is doing but then again, the Gills asides, the rise of local teams can only be a good thing; friendly rivalry, local derbies etc, as well as putting the south-east on the footballing map. Good luck to them, but this is basically another Romanov, and we've seen what's happening there...
