Just Read in the Reporter

According to the Reporter, we are playing our Kent Senior Cup Tie with Erith & Belvedere on Tuesday 28th January.

 

I have no information as to whether this match will be segregated.

Well we've segregated one man and his dog several times this season as a result of PC Plodd needing the overtime, so I suppose anything is possible.

You obviously werent listening to our Tannoy Man last week, Dave - he announced the fixture that day !!

 

Other quarter finals incidentally were Chatham v Bromley (being played next Tuesday), Folkestone v Welling(21/1), and Margate v Sittingbourne(also 28/1).

 

I'll settle for a semi final against the winners of Chatham v Bromley (if we beat Erith of course)

I don't think he mentioned it but it is very difficult to understand however i don't think it will be segregated probably a crowd of around 400-500 if that

On the subject of the Tannoy Man ( I was once told that it is Jessica's husband but I don't know if this is true), could he please read out the players for both teams more than once before the match. The solitary reading at about 2.40pm is too early and isn't helped by our poor notes about our visitors in our programme making it impossible at times to know who is who.

......you can usually read the names on the shirts of the other team........not that you need to read ours.....just a bit of small print..that's all !!

PS......get out of the bar earlier !...but there again, you can get a couple in between 2.40 and 2.59 !! ..and it's all in a good cause !

Arent the notes for the programmes supplied by our opposition? That being the case, the "dig" at our programme people on this issue is wholly unjustified.
