Sorry guys at the top that we couldn't do you a favour but we weren't really at the races today and the Hares deserved the win.

 

More action off the field and Rhodes your ears must have been ablaze from 7pm to 9.30pm. Myself, Spider, Manorborn and Potters bar were spinning tales of your at times ridiculous threads to a very good friend of yours.

Bit physical in first half but always looked the better side to be honest. We had a lot of the ball but never looked capable of using it well enough.

 

We do have grounds for an appeal of course in that the referee made some errors in interpretation and application of the laws of the game!!

Not really Horace, they were physical, efficient and functional tonight. But we didn't play at all well tonight. Still we had some fun filling in Rhodes' friend on what he's been saying about him. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Bloody hell Lat's, I only left you about 15 minutes ago waiting for a bus in the manor.

 

My summary of tonight - disapointing but predictable - looks like Harefield are back firing on all cylinders - and if I were Edgware I wouldn't bank on that rematch.

They still stay 5th, now they have the played 11 like us and we are SEVEN points clear <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> to think a couple of weeks back they were 4 pts clear from us <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

Long way to go, and I still expect Harefield/Hertford, and possibly Leverstock to be up there with us

Harefield looked much better than the days when we used to play them. Should have been two or three up before they did eventually score. 3-0 was probably about right in the end as Ruislip came into it more in the second half.

It wasn't a text MB, it was an e-mail. Rhodes' "friend" seemed surprised that he was going to get any contact at all from someone he only knows as "the 9'7" man from Haringey"!

So how come you didn't know about the Forum before tonight, I would have thought that it was the talk of the town in SSML circles and everyone would want a piece of the action. Potters Bar Town thinks it's because I post on here and it scares people off but that's nonsense, Kentish Town's results have spoken for themselves this season, as has our league position.
