as our friends at ET don't have a ground of their own they have to play reserve team games at harringay as brimsdown call the shots.....

anyway...

seeing as tho' harringay is now a dedicated reservoir for north london... steph has had a barge built big enough to play the capital league game on....

should be in a river basin near us shortly.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A little uncharitable of you, Unc! I'm not sure whether Brimsdown "call the shots" as you put it, as the groundshare agreement says who can do what where and when, so to speak. Obviously both clubs have first teams playing on it, and our ladie' on Sundays and god knows what else in the week. I don't know if Brimsdown reserves play on it, I presume they do - but after all it is their ground (although we built most of it!). To try and get yet another team on it wouldn't do the pitch or the fixtures secretaries health any good, so of course our stiffs play elsewhere.

Well, they do when it isn't being used for rice production..... I hear it's been put forward for the London Olympics as the rowing venue.
