More fool you! I got a last minute complimentary ticket at the lane, half way line 4 rows back next to the bench / press box! Most enjoyable evening.

Potters Bar Town - Whilst you were in the lap of luxury at White Hart Lane having no doubt been given a complimentary ticket, as I doubt you would have paid £40 for one, Phoinex and me were freezing our whatsits off at Hendon and Rak was playing, very well might I add, in other words you weren't even there. We were always going to make the most of the kind offer by Hendon to play a Step 3 Club and grabbed the opportunity with both hands, there were times when a neutral such as Phoinex would not have had a clue who the Step 3 team was.

Rhodes - your complete ignorance reigns supreme again!

Let's start with yet another false assumption of yours. I actually paid £50 for my ticket last night. No lap of luxury there. And it was just as cold high up in the East Stand at White Hart Lane as it would have been at Claremont Road.

No, I wasn't there at your game. Pretty obvious really given that I had already said I was going to Spurs and even I can't be in two places at once. I have, though, now attended 105 matches this season. How many have you been to?

Having not been at your game, I have the option of listening to you, someone reknowned for making hideously over the top claims about what you have eventually admitted to be a Mickey Mouse Level 6 side and someone who has been proven on more than one occasion on this forum to be a liar and someone who doesn't know what he's talking about, or I can listen to Rak, a player and youth manager who took part in the game in question and understands the finer details of the game, such as tactics. Not a difficult choice really, is it? I respect Phoinex's right to have an opinion. I just happen to have a different one on this matter.

Yes (based on previous posts here). It was a friendly. Both sides used a number of triallists so there was no team pattern or cohesion about the second half of the game. This caused a levelling out of the two teams meaning that the result could go either way and the minor team won the game by the odd goal in five. In the overall scheme of things, it doesn't count for anything.

From the team that beat walton on sat there were 6 changes so wouldnt call that full strength & the team included triallists & coach bontcho in his 40's ( absolute legend though!), fair play to kentish town they have 1 or 2 decent players & you can see how they are top of their league & played the game like a cup final, but the qoute before the game in our changing room was to "use it as training session & don't be silly"

Blues06, you don't qualify as you're not an impoverished Camden estate delinquent that is empathically and telepathically linked to his other 'saved from asbo' team mates!

(I'd like to add that the comments made here are not views made from my own experience but are formed on the comments made by Rhodes on this forum)

Good win for Kentish Town, Hendon must have wanted a game to boost their confidence and it's backfired, tough as Rak says it may not have been their strongest side. It's a real shame to see a once famous club as Hendon in the state they are in, and gives me no pleasure as I like the club.

....
I dont mean to be funny potters bar, but have you really been to 105 games so far this season? If so, wouldn't that mean you go to to see a game pretty much every day!!!

Mascherano - From my observation of events, Hendon also had a player substituted by the ref and the Kentish Town player was reacting to being spat at.So Neutralfan your comparison with the Hertford game is a little off, it was not a dirty game at all.

Sorry Phoinex but I can't accept comments from someone who has Tony Woodcock in his favourite players list...

Neutralfan - He was a legend along with Paul Marriner and champange Charlie Nicholas. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

Well the game last night seems to have attracted just as much interest, if not more so, than the legendary friendly at Hertford Town in August, strange that and must prove the point that there is huge interest in Kentish Town's activities. To answer the points above in no particular order, how can Potters Bar Town comment if he wasn't even in attendance and by the way he was robbed blind paying £50 for his Spurs v Bruges ticket. Also my comment about us being a 'Mickey Mouse Step 6 team' was clearly tongue in cheek particularly now we have just taken a high profile Step 3 side to the cleaners. Blue06 is more than welcome to a trial with us and he can come to training on Monday evening if he wants, if he's serious about growing up in Camden with Lee and Josh then I have no doubt he can probably walk straight into the First Team. Mascherano's comments were valid ones but at the end of the day we won against a far superior team on paper, I predicted a 5-0 win for Hendon beforehand and took a ribbing from our boys beforehand which I think gee'd them up all the more, if that's possible. Phoinex, thanks for your support as ever, why didn't you come over and introduce yourself last night, I was the one taking photos which, incidentally folks, will be posted on here soon!

Rhodes, the interest isn't in Kentish Town, it's in seeing what sort of a prat you are going to make of yourself next!
