Well for the last two seasons we have been stifled, constsantly reined in and dictated to, Idi Amin style, by our landlords, no names mentioned.

Well, unless you are prepared to mention names, I shall take it personally and take the appropriate action. You have until 5pm on Friday to name names.

Potters Bar Town - What do you mean, I'm not with you. How was the Tottenham v Bruges game tonight, I bet you had one ear open for news from Claremont Road.

Not buying it, Rhodes. Read your own quote again (and the PM I've sent you). You speak of Idi Amin style dictatorship by Kentish Town's landlords over the last TWO seasons. Now, name names or else.

Rhodes, I'm off out for the afternoon now. So just reminding you of the 5pm deadline.

Potters Bar Town - This is clearly a sore point with you which you don't seem to want to let go of, I have also received your PM. Regarding my comments they were predominantly aimed at a certain person in a little corner of N17 as the great Brian Butler used to say in his legendary commentaries, however it is true that one or two issues from our year at Parkfield last season have set us back light years such as the FA Vase and FA Youth Cup entries for this season or rather the lack of them. Clearly the Idi Amin reference wasn't aimed at you so don't worry and besides I thought we were friends, what about all those nice hot cups of tea I used to make for you at Coles Park on freezing January and February Thursday evenings, have you forgotten them.

I believe I know the answer to that one - No!

Nice one HTFCew! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

How much to rent that per season? About £1m I reckon. Plus £100,000 per game to cover the stewards, police, gatemen etc. Seems a bit steep for 25 spectators?

I thought I'd made the goundshare issue perfectly clear in another post. If Kentish Town were that desparate to play in the FA Vase, they shouldn't have signed an agreement that expressly forbade it and found themselves another club to share with instead. Nobody held a gun to Gregg's head over this.

HTFCew - No we have never owned our own ground and have always shared or used Council grounds before we joined the SSML in 2003/2004. It is unfortunate that the two ground shares we had before this season have ended with feathers being ruffled, at Haringey in 2004/2005 we were unceremoniously shown the door by 'Sugar' and his cohorts and virtually frogmarched off the premises and at the end of the following 2005/2006 season we were also shown the door at Potters Bar Town, it became a bit like the Millwall song 'no one likes us we don't care' but at least Hendon have been great to us so far and have bent over backwards to help us.

Yes, I saw that. There's nothing between you and Cantos at the moment. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

I will be back, though! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

So, basically, KTFC is an overgrown youth team with no ground and hardly any supporters? Maybe you should stick to Sunday league and let those players who are able go to more established clubs where they WILL stand a chance of climbing the pyramid.

HTFCew - I am surprised by your comments there as I thought you would be more understanding to our plight. Our players are more than happy to stick with us through thick and thin as I've said on here before and want to climb the pyramid with Kentish Town, who they are extremely proud to represent, rather than other Club's, afterall they are all from the Borough of Camden and unusually, unlike 99.99% of other players, they want to represent their local Club who they started with at the tender age of twelve, some even younger than that. It is also not our fault not having a proper 'place to call home' but hopefully we soon will have and you will be the first to hear about it.
