Thought I'd create a thread of our own - both being Ryman North team supporters <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Rhodes wont read this - we're safe lol

 

Well the game of the season is coming up on the 23rd December (only about 60 days <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />).

What are your predictions then

 

Apoligies to everyone except Rhodes - he is trying to get rid of us outsiders so I felt the need for this post.

Yes, it's certainly the biggest game of the season Paula. The sort of game that the likes of Kentish Town could only dream of taking part in!

I would like to see how our boys respond to yesterday's defeat before making a prediction. I suspect the squad is strong enough to make a move up the table now. The signing of Curtis Johnson from Enfield is certainly something we needed and there is at least one more decent player being lined up to add further strength to the squad.

I admit to being surprised as to how well Canvey have started given the squad they began the season with. Do you feel they can sustain this form for the rest of the season?

We don't seem to be consistant unfortunately. We seem to be playing better 'away' which is a worry. Dont think we will be strengthening our squad this season - want to get some pennies in the coffers first.

Don't think we will be chasing for the title but hopefully we'll end mid table.

I have every faith in the team (she says fingers crossed)

Curtis Johnson - just signed for Potters Bar. A Hertford Town cult hero - 29 goals in 105 appearances in midfield/defence. Left because his then manager described him as a "luxury".

Paula, we have no game Tuesday as Ware are playing in Herts Senior Cup. We also have no game next Saturday as AFC Sudbury are in the FA Trophy but we are trying to arrange something. Next game at the moment is away to Ware on Tuesday week.

 

Redbridge is on my shortlist of games to watch on Tuesday as it is only 10 mins. drive for me. Not sure yet, though.

 

I might even take a rare plunge into the SSML on Monday for the Ruislip v Harefield game.

Well if you come along then come and say hi.
I'l be the tall bird in jeans and Canvey shirt. Be with two or tree blokes (you wont miss one of them he's about 6'6" tall).

Er, am I allowed on this thread, I want to pick Krooner up on his post about eliminating me, that's not very nice. If it's purely intended for non SSML Club's to banter amongst themselves about the SSML then that's fine.
