Whilst I concede this is a footy blog, not a travel blog, I have attached a link to a recent video clip from our last moments in Argentina. This mainly due to the fact that we grabbed some 'footage' at the River Plate v Boca Juniors game.

 

Hopefully Rivers reaction we pale against ours when taking the points at Crawley next week...

River Plate? Isn't that where they sank the Bismarck? Or maybe it was the Scharnhorst...

It was the Graf Spee and it was scuttled by its own crew on leaving the Montevideo harbour where it was awaited by HMS's Ajak, Exeter & Achilles. The Captain committed suicide two days later. I believe the Bismark was sunk off the north west coast of France.

The Bismarck was sunk after mortal blows were intially inflicted by a squadron of torpedo-carrying Fairy Swordfish bi-planes. Northern Monkey may have had on involvement with the outer right wing oleo thingy.

Never mind the port oleo outrigger, mate, what about the bit of kit that connects the wheel to the wing?

 

Aren't they the same on both sides, by the way?

the bit of kit that connects the wheel to the wing is called exactly that. Not allowed to say the truth as I signed the O.S.A.

And no they are not the same on both sides, just like Left handed Patio doors.
