And it had the desired effect, it helped turn the game in our favour and it also helped to wind up Hertford's captain. It's amazing what just two people getting behind their team can do, the only time we heard the Hertford fans was when they scored their second goal, talk about singin when youre winning.

 

The way that Hertford celebrated both their goals you would have thought they had won the FA Cup, then again they were playing their biggest league game of the season <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

I must say the airhorn was LOUD, it is the loudest I have used, and I am sure that many who heard it thoght it was EXTRA loud!

 

What did the Hertford fans think of the NOISE?

Your first was excellent, very well taken and left Rob Blackburne with no chance. Your second was a penalty.

Yes, true, and the pressure on Richard Morton must have been huge, as he knew that kick would win the game, plus our regular penalty taker Lee Gardner was slightly injured so he handed the duty to our leading goalscorer.

 

Horace, what did you think of the noise we made, did it sound loud from where you were? you have to at least say we install some atmosphere into games at our level which are normally played out in front of very quiet crowds.

They're not quiet at our ground! you do a very good job considering there's only two of you! Not sure about the airhorn though!

Yes I know you have the best support in the league and make a noise, although I have not head the Hertford 'roar' as each time I have seen us play you, we win <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

The air horn was VERY loud, had to point it well away from my ears today!
