in all honesty although it is a job at a conference club i believe grays are on there way down,after looking for alot of last season like they could get into the football league it looks as if they will be a middle of the road team for next couple of years and i can see us meeting them in conf south in next 3-4 years.IMO colin has more to lose going to grays and everything to gain with hornchurch!

i should imagine most hornchurch fans would rather not lose colin.I was not his biggest fan when he was revealed as the manager but in all honesty the team has made great strides so far this season and i fully expect us to take that cup form into our league games starting with tuesday,we are playing good stuff and we have a capital league side that would be the envy of most conf south sides

have heard rumours all is not well,i can't think why stimmo went if everything was ok,he must of known something to decide to move on!

I think Stimson left because he knew he had taken Grays as far as he could. It was case of trying to repeat a Trophy victory and a play off place the following season and he perhaps felt he would not be able to do it with the resources available to him.

 

I think even if he had stayed at Grays they would be no higher in the table. He is hardly setting things alight at Stevenage at the moment.

 

Maybe Craig Edwards will go back to Grays!!!!

i think it is partly coz of that but i think some of the resources were maybe not as much as he was promised and he probably thought he should get out while he could!
