Cheers, NF. Still can't believe we didn't get at least a replay. A defender's attempted clearance in the last minute missed his own post by about two inches. Still, the FA Cup is about the rub of the green and we are happy that we gave a good account of ourselves at the end of a tremendous cup run.

Just been having a few drinks with a few of your boys in Hoddesdon.. they moved on to Faces but my knees feeling the pain of the a woeful St Mags game so I've retired early!!

 

The boys all said you gave them a great run for their money and that you weren't outclassed so well done.

NF, yeah, it's Nik Nak's birthday so I knew a few of them were going down to Faces tonight. They deserve to enjoy themselves as they played very, very well today. Apart from a 20 minute spell early in the second half, they were no better than us and we actually dominated for long periods of the game. Didn't take our chances when it mattered, though, and that's what the Cup's all about!

Not bad, two training sessions and straight into FA Cup v Woking!

Well, we knew that Woking hadn't seen him play when they spied on us at Carshalton last week. It was a gamble to start him but he came through the 90 minutes very well. He's one of those consistent players from whom you know what you're going to get week in week out.
