Mine too...total culture shock that is for sure. Wandered around the new Spitalfields, then Brick Lane then down BGR. Missus said let's have a half <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> in the Shakespeare down near the Salmon and Bull....four hours later..hic!!

You may recall that the Shakespeare is my old local. It's still run by mate Micky Turner, many of my cousins still drink in there too.

 

I got married in the big white church opposite the Salmon & Ball.

I was down BGR the other month with my cousin on his stag do. Went in the Marques of Cornwallis! Really changed. Last time I was there was proper rough and nearly got into about 5 fights!
