I think Gate will come away with a tight 2-1 win, Hockton with both goals. Att 210.

Ah, my Gate mates, this is not an easy game to predict.

 

Poor Leyton will be leg weary in having to play on Tuesday night against Maldon in the FA Trophy. Their game went into extra-time but they will be exhilirated by their 3-1 win and progress to the next round. We on the other hand have been dormant.

 

So I think Leyton will start the game with a flourish and we will take time to get started. Advantage Leyton!

 

But as the game progresses they will tire and we will persevere and be the stronger.

 

It WILL be a happy 110th birthday. We won through a hat-trick 110 years ago and we will do so with a hat-trick on Saturday. But in will be late-on, Leyton! So 1-3 and a Hockton hat-trick, with 2 late goals to win it. Crowd around the 140 mark.

In today's paper Trotty is aware of the threat Leyton pose. He says they are an underestimated side.

They recently released many of their better players. However, they are a strange side. Difficult game to call. I'll go for a draw.

 

As for the crowd, they had 51 on Tuesday night so I doubt if there will be 100 in the ground tomorrow.

spent 8 years living in leyton just opposite brisbane road and havent been back since i was 8 so will be interested to see how the old place has deteriorated!!!
