deserting a sinking ship?

Quite right JKiF. Blue is the sooper-dooper deluxe season ticket which cost around £25 or so more than the yellow one and permits the holder to sit in the main stand.

[Well the yellow one permits the holder to sit in the main stand when there are no operatives on duty collecting the extra £2 for the upgrade. In fact, even the freeloaders, if any, can sit in the main stand on those days.].

I wonder who might be selling it, too. I've noticed that a number of the Very Important People - but not all of them - have some kind of security pass around their necks at games this season. Now if one of those comes up for sale on e-bay, it should be possible to indentify the seller, presumably.

I notice that the bloke from Park Street isn't selling this ticket on e-bay so, presumably, the proceeds of the sale wont be passed to the Supporters Club.

Sounds a bit like someone who might use the expression "eye candy", to me. Or someone who would get a white fluffy dog and call it "Chloe".

Mind you, Laz, this stuff that's sold on e-bay and is a little bit ...err... ummnn.. 'warm', shall we say, has probably passed through several pairs of hands. It's the old "I bought it from a man in a pub who I've never seen before, Officer." Same as the match-day programmes that can be bought before they are on sale to the general public.

It'll be the runners-up cup from the Conference South 05/06 next.

Wait!!

I've just checked my season-ticket and the name - mine in this case, obviously - and a number are on the back, underneath the plastic coating stuff, and therefore, impossible to remove.

If you are successful with your bid, Zealster, it might be interesting to know to whom it was initially issued, simply to ensure that it was properly purchased in the first place.

There's that person "Wench", Laz. She's a bit of a fan of the chap who sells pre-memorabilia on e-bay, so there's a link. Why might she be losing interest in the affairs of The Mighty Saints, I wonder? Mind you, she might have a security pass in any event.

Who else is there, I wonder. The gels on the Supporters Club Committee wouldn't be thinking of quitting and selling their season-tickets, I hope.

Before you even go there, Laz, I don't think that it's anything to do with my good friend, the wife of a very, very senior member of the board - but not the most senior - she wouldn't call herself 'Kitten Heels in a million years. Apart from anything else, she doesn't have a season ticket. Interstingly, the family pay to get in at the turnstile.

Who else?
