"'Sugar' threatened to go to my employers to get me sacked for being a nutcase, what does that tell you about the man, it's not me who needs a psychaitrist."

You can't leave that one out!

one of the players we weren't expecting to play missed being best man at his best friends wedding to play, that says it all about our players commitment."

I'm disappointed to find this hasn't made the short list but I respect your role as 'Keeper of the Quotes! PBT. As the man himself says it is a full time job after all.

The above post from Lato shows why I think all of this is a bit of a waste of time and effort, to me it is only natural that a player would miss his best friends wedding to play in the biggest game of the season and not let him team mates down, why is someone getting married on a Saturday afternoon during the football season anyway, it doesn't make any sense.

Well I am not one of those, do you want me to quote the Bill Shankly saying again which is my motto.

I do believe that HTFCew's 99.99999% equates to 1 in 10,000,000 - Rhodes is certainly that! (wonder who the other 5 are?)

Horace - I see you were up early this morning, haven't you got anything better to do than go onto the Forum at 07.35, do you work if you don't mind me asking.

Thats rich coming from a man who posts at 3am.

Ye Rhodes I just got in, yes I just switched on the PC. No Rhodes I don't watch soap opera which I guess makes me some kind of sub-human. In case you hadn't noticed I never post during the day because although I have access to the internet at work I actually have a job as well! Therefore after it, I like, on the days like today when I have nothing planned, to come on to this forum and soak up the atmos...anything wrong with that? Oh no you're probably too busy watching Hollyoaks or Emmerdale or a Coronation Street omnibus or something sad like that.

Yes I was up early and I posted on the forum before going off to hospital for an unpleasant procedure called an angiogram. Back now obviously. No, I don't work nowadays, having taken early retirement from the civil service years ago. Understand you work for Her Majesty too?

Isn't he letting his mate down even more though for the sake of one game of football and supposedly he was a good one as I seem to recall you saying the player in question was going to be the best man. So presumably he knew this guy before he was part of KTFC.....oh no sorry temporary memory loss there as I forgot your players are signed up from the age of 12 to stop them running amok in North London by prostituting themselves or ram raiding shops, taking various drugs and other crimes. So actually KTFC have probably done him a favour because this guy whose wedding he could have gone to is probably still involved in 'that world' KTFC therefore saved him by letting him escape and so in gratitude he was right to skip the wedding after all. I apologise Rhodes for not realising this and thank you for pointing out the social wonders of the club. Infact I might have to write to Tony Blair and recommend you for a MBE or similar gong for championing such a fantastic scheme.

Lato - I will address both your posts, or should I say rants, together, I have to say though that you appear to be losing it a bit. Firstly you could pass as the man in the crunchy nut cornflakes advert of yesteryear as we can all set our watches by you. You come in at exactly the same time every afternoon and the first thing you do is switch on your PC, probably followed by putting on the kettle and then making some toast, then you settle down for an hour or two on here to wind me up before going out to a game or to a pub to meet up with some friends, you're becoming Mr Predictable. As for our player who missed his friends wedding he offered to play, if it had been any other game than Brimsdown Rovers, such as Hoddesdon or Cockfosters, then we may well have said to him go to the wedding but he was crucial to our plans following the Don Revie style dossier we received on Brimsdown and as a result he tormented them all afternoon.

Totally wrong as always Rhodes but if the truth doesn't fit with your idea of reality it doesn't really matter you'll just believe it anyway.

it took about ten posts to get into your sepctacularly desne brain that I am no longer on the committee of RMFC. Therefore you think what you want to about what I do when I get home (note time of tonights post Rhodes or can you not tell the time yet?). I'm scared that you even bother to think about it.

And as I said before your are much funnier when you aren't trying to be funny though most of the time as I think has been pointed out by your own club you are just a laughing stock.

As for the player he can't have tormented them all afternoon as they managed to find time to score twice!!
