Broxbourne 6-2 Langford

Recommended Posts

First half was played like an end of season game, no urgency and very lacklustre. Langford took the lead with a cracking 25 yard strike from their only real decent player Grooves. Then on 15 mins we were awarded a pen for handball after a dangerous corner and Blues06 confidently despatched it, Langford went bk in front with about 10 to play in the first half after some poor defending allowed their forward to score easily from 8 yrds out. It looked like being 2-1 to Langford but with the last attack of the half we equalised. From a Blues06 free kick, Ross Edwards headed bk across goal for Emile Aitken to score a spectacular overhead kick.

After the half time team talk we moved up the gears in the 2nd half and completely dominated the 2nd half scoring some great goals! Firstly Tan Tezel scored from 30 yrds with a chip that finished in the top corner and then Rob Tungett scored another cracker from 25 yrds which he pinged into the bottom corner!!

With about 5 mins to go Tezel got another rounding the keeper and finishing well after good work from Aitken and then to round it off captain Ross Edwards scored a bullet header from Blues06 corner with the last kick of the game!!

Bad news is that 2 suspensions came thru last night and our right bk and myself are suspended for the clash with Hertford on the 4th and im gutted...

he's played 4 games for us now!!

first 2 he wasn't the best, but our last 2 against Colney and Langford he has been 1 of our best players!

wen we get the ball to him early and he turns and runs at some1 1 on 1, he is quality and always beats his man!

he's final ball is decent but if he could just improve it a bit more he can be a big player for us this season!!

The best thing about Bradley is he is still young, and what he lacks sometimes in concentration he gains back with his pace, I wasnt sure at first he would fit in with Broxbournes Style of play, but am glad he is proving me wrong!
