Heard on the radio this morning that 7 out of 10 couples get married too soon.

 

What does everyone think of that?

 

Personally I feel that if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, what is the point of rushing in to tie the not? Take it easy, make sure you know the person, then arrange the wedding.

I got married at 17 and seperated at 20!!

Got married again and 4 years later its already on the rocks!!!

Should have stuck to my guns and stayed single!!!

I met my wife when I was 20, we got engaged at 22, got married at 24, had our only child 4 years later at 28, so hardly rushed in, and we celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary in June this year, so all in all we've been together for 26 years.

 

If I'd murdered her when we first met I'd have been out by now!!! Only kidding babe!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bisou.gif" alt="" />

I'm fortunate in that my parents are still together but I have seen others who's parents separated and want to make sure I don't put my children through that (should I have them).
