You really dont want me to post it on here do you??? I'm not 100% on the 2nd one but I certainly know the first. Think back. We actually discussed it in great length by PM and email at work!!
Yes sorry I'm with you now but that turned out to be a totally wrong call on my part, I am still at a loss as to who BewareofRhodents was/is and am assuming the two manifestations, as Horace puts it, are one of the same person.

Well they had the same AOL Rhodes. I dont beleive you. Sorry. She must be telling you porkies!!!!

Still I learnt the hard way. Got my wrists slapped and felt a total fool. Most of them posts were definately aimed at me in a roundabout way at that time.

Lets just put that one to bed now - its in the past. I want to look to now and the future!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Folks - Some of you may have noticed that our Forum is currently down for maintenance purposes and Kentish Town Football Club apologise for any inconvenience caused. We know that you are waiting with bated breath for our press report from Saturday so I have taken the liberty of posting it below:

Saturday 11 November

Spartan South Midlands League Division 1

Cockfosters 1 Kentish Town 0

Town suffered a worrying second successive away defeat at the hands of Spartan League Division 1 near neighbours Cockfosters who treated the game as if it were a cup final and were in Town's faces from the word go not allowing Frank Zanre and Clement Temile’s men to settle on the ball and play their trademark brand of intricate passing football.

Town who were still without the influential Aaron Hutchins and Daniel Young at least welcomed back Daryl Malcolm from suspension however right back Ben McMullen was unfortunately unavailable for selection and attacker Thomas Looney was forced to slot into that position. Despite forcing two early corners, which came to nothing, Town were slow to get into their stride allowing Cockfosters to seize the initiative, the home side missed a good opportunity on the 15 minute mark when a precision cross was put in from the right only to be headed just wide from a central position. Another opportunity was missed when Town’s defence was caught flat footed and a home forward was put through with the ball finally being blocked.

On the half hour mark Town almost took the lead when Looney let fly spectacularly from a central position just outside the penalty area which the young Cockfosters keeper was equal to making a superb acrobatic save to tip the ball over the crossbar. Some excellent work from Malcolm down the left saw the ball filter through to Terry O’Leary who just failed to find the corner of the net from an angle with the goalkeeper gathering the ball low down.

Cockfosters continued to hold the upper hand against a Town side who were not themselves and right on the half time whistle the ball was bundled in by Captain Steve Weldon following a melee in the Town penalty area when the defence failed to clear their lines. The goal couldn’t have come at a worse time with there being barely time to kick off again and Town trooping off with their heads bowed.

Town introduced top scorer Lee Scott for Terry O’Leary for the second period, Scott had a badly inflamed hand and was doubtful right up until kick off. Cockfosters continued to boss the game with even Scott failing to lift morale and instil a sense of urgency. Town were unlucky however not to make more of a well worked move with a number of players involved.

Looney cleared the ball off the line from a Cockfosters attack with keeper Darren Cox beaten and Malcolm was also in the right place at the right time to miraculously block the ball whilst on his knees as it was about to cross the line with Cockfosters still very much enjoying the lions share of play. Town introduced new recruit Garnet Ampong for Thomas Kanaris late on but this had little impact and it was never going to be Town’s afternoon against a good Cockfosters team who go above Town in the table, Town slip down to fifth place.

Town travel to Bedfordshire based Arlesey Athletic on Saturday, kick off 3.00, who they beat 6-1 recently at Claremont Road and hope to get back to winning ways.

Town Team: Cox, Looney, Malcolm, T McMullen, Kanaris, Cole, O’Leary, Serieux, Standford, Dawson, Zanre

Subs: Scott, Ampong, Giovannini, Noonan

Potters Bar Town - Are you feeling okay, thanking me for something, what's wrong with you.

NeutralFan - Well not for long, there are only three points separating the top five teams so three points at Arlesey Athletic on Saturday will probably see us back on top with two of those teams above us not playing and the other two meeting each other.

But weren't Arlesey Athletic the best side you've faced this season? I bet Stony Stratford Town are top on SAturday evening.

Horace - How do you work that one out, Stony Stratford aren't even playing in Division 1 on Saturday as they have a Anagram Records Trophy game and they're only second in the table now to 'the mighty' Brimsdown Rovers. That's why I'm glad we're not involved in all these County Cup competitions as it's a big distraction from the league although the FA Vase would have been nice, Potters Bar Town will know all about why we're not in that this season.

I stand corrected - thought they were away to Cranfield United! Teach me to try and be a smart-ar*e!
