Evening all,

A request for help please - does anyone know how many times the Fleet have been in the Fourth Qualifying Round and how many subsequent appearances in the Competition proper?

And does anyone know of any websites where you can get indiviuald team performances in the Cup - I know there is one, but just cant remember where it is!

Dont worry if you cant break into Essex through the Tunnel on Saturday afternoon, Lord Webster and I have our plans in place, and have drawn all the maps and diagrams (yes Chas can use the pencils now - me? I'm still on the crayons!!!), and the game will be featured on Saturday Sports FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round Special. Goals and scores from all five final qualifying round games involving Kent clubs and second half commentary from one... Which one? Well that will be decided just before 4:00 on Saturday afternoon!

AND DONT FORGET THE DRAW WILL BE CARRIED LIVE ON THE SHOW AT APPROXIMATELY 5:30 WITH (I sincerely hope with everything crossed) IMMEDIATE REACTION TO THE DRAW?

Is 2006 another Notts County season, or will it be another Kettering??? Dont you just love the Greatest Cup Competition in the World???

From the club's own archives :

It is a little known fact, to non Northfleet fans, that during the FA Cup run of 1962/63 The Fleet set an FA Cup record which still stands today. Our first match in the Cup was on 8th September 1962 against Chatham Town in the First Qualifying Round, and our last match was on 18th February 1963 in the Fourth Round Replay against Sunderland. The total time spent between first and last match was 5 months and 10 days.

Can't find this fact in the FA's own FA Cup annals , or several other "reputable" sources . Can't be just our club maintaining it , shirley , or is it a not very important piece of data to the rest of the footballing world ?
